OAG Helgoland – who are we?

The Ornithologische Arbeitsgemeinschaft Helgoland e.V. (OAG) was founded on 9.3.1991 to support faunistic knowledge. The number of members has increased ever since and meanwhile is more than 650.
The main task of the OAG is to record data of birds, which are published in cooperation with the Institute of Avian Research “Vogelwarte Helgoland” in the Helgoland bird report (free to all members).
The OAG is also contact for the many birdwatchers visiting the island. Work is funded by membership fees and donations.
